In the short time Bex and Elle have been with Pillars, they mention loving their mahi. From the underlying kaupapa, the awesome and varied team at Pillars, to the wonderful whānau they get to work with.

Both Bex and Elle are from Ōtautahi and are pleased to be able to give back to the community.

Bex and Elle were drawn to Pillars to do mahi as part of a whānau wrap-around service. Bex says “I love that I can engage directly with whānau and support them on their personalised and unique goals.”

Pillars has given both Elle and Bex an opportunity to develop their skill sets as social workers. Through working closer with whānau to wrap around tamariki, to providing foresight and flexibility when meeting the complex needs of a whānau. Elle says “the focus of Pillars and the dedication of the team was a big draw card.”

“It’s a lively and nurturing environment to be in.”

Pillars is delighted to have Elle and Bex as part of the team.
