The goal of the Youth Advisory Panel is to communicate our rangatahi’s ideas far and wide. To create change for other young people with whānau in prison and to ultimately contribute to the wider transformative justice conversation.

These rangatahi join our tuakana from last year’s panel, sharing their korero for positive transformation of the justice system, youth mental health, the age of criminal responsibility, family violence and more. They are leaders, championing change for future children of people in prison.

Hapaitia te ara tika pumau ai te rangatiratanga mo nga uri whakatipu.

Foster the pathway of knowledge to strength, independence, and growth for future generations.

A massive mihi to these young people!
