Pillars
Pathway Centres
Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou has created a whānau friendly environment giving Dads the opportunity to bond with their tamariki while serving their prison sentence.
These centres are run by Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou Staff in Christchurch Men’s Prison and Invercargill Prison.
These spaces are filled with toys, books and games, giving families the ability to reconnect and have fun and bond as a family unit.
Our Pathway Centres are for minimum security people in prison and visitation is dependent on Ara Poutama (The Department of Corrections).
Pillars Christchurch Pathway Centre is open Saturday and Sunday fortnightly. Hours are typically 9:30am-3:30pm. Visitation is dependent on Ara Poutama (The Department of Corrections) and is often changing. Currently Pillars Pathway Centre is open for selective times, please contact the prison to see when visitation is available.
Pillars Invercargill Pathway Centre is open Saturday and Sunday. Visitation is dependent on Ara Poutama (The Department of Corrections) and is often changing. Currently Pillars Pathway Centre is open for selective times, please contact the prison to see when visitation is available.
